Mother Mo preaches the Sermon with Nolan.

“O God, the source of eternal light: Shed forth your unending day upon us who watch for you, that our lips may praise you, our lives may bless you, and our worship on the morrow give you glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen”

Book of Common Prayer p.123

St. Thomas's liturgy is grounded in our Anglican roots as we find them in the Book of Common Prayer. While living within our tradition, we are open to new liturgical forms, and regularly experiment with new ways to praise God. Everyone is welcome to join us in worship. Worship is the heart of our faith community. Drawing on the richness of our Anglican heritage in liturgy and music, we seek a closer relationship with God and each other as we gather together on Sundays and Holy Days to share the Good News in word and sacraments.

Our ministry team includes members of the congregation, the Rector, visiting assistant clergy, and one or more seminarians (from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University), all of whom contribute to our worship with regular preaching and service at the Lord's Table.

There are many ways parishioners and lay people can participate in liturgy and worship at St. Thomas's. Click for information on how to participate. Worship is the heart of our faith community.
