As we prepare for worship on Sunday, please be aware of the following information from the Millennium Development Goals Committee of St. Thomas’s:
 
“As St. Thomas’s MDG group was discussing ideas for a Lenten campaign, the earthquake in Haiti created a need so great that it has overshadowed other worthy causes. As a result, the MDG group will send approximately $300 from St. T's MDG fund to Partners in Health, an organization that has a history of good work in Haiti. The work of Partners in Health is known and recommended by our own Jennifer Ruger.
 
"We recognize that many of you have already donated generously to various charities working in Haiti, including Episcopal Relief and Development, but we also invite to join us in participating in the MDG gift.  Envelopes will be available on Sunday, 2/14 and 2/21, and tax receipts will be sent to those who provide a name and address.”
