We have received word that Pam Wallgren died at hospice yesterday, not long after receiving last rites. A number of St. Thomas's folks were there mid-morning, and she was surrounded by her family when she died in the afternoon.
 
In the relatively brief time Pam was a member of this faith community, she touched many of us deeply. We were witnesses to her great strength and inner fortitude, her courage in meeting illness "head on," her determination to absorb as much knowledge as possible, her determination to be proactive in medical matters, and her hopeful and positive attitude about the future.
