“Our worship and work” this Sunday promises to be quite lively:
Mother Mo will preach, and our liturgy at ten o’clock will be our monthly Children’s Liturgy. If your child is interested in taking an age-appropriate leadership role in our worship, please contact Mother Mo.
In addition to a festive English tea at coffee hour (a send-off for our intern Helen Bailey), we will also be making lunches for Chapel on the Green. All the supplies have been purchased and organized, but please be encouraged to make a contribution to the cost of supplies. Feeding the many homeless who come to Chapel on the Green is no easy task. We invite all hands to participate, and all pocketbooks to consider a financial donation.
Beautiful weather is promised for this Sunday, so plan to join the outdoor worship at 2:00 p.m. The service is held just behind Trinity Episcopal Church, on the Green at Chapel and Temple streets; do come and be part of the congregation.
Join us for a pancake supper at 5:30 p.m. This is our belated Shrove Tuesday pancake supper (postponed because of snow), and we promise lots of fun, fellowship, and good food.
Someone has said “If you aren’t tired when you get home on Sunday … you haven’t worked hard enough at worship – liturgy is the work of the people.” Join us Sunday at 10:00, 2:00, and 5:30, and we guarantee you will arrive home having worked hard enough! You’ll be blessed in doing so.
Faithfully,
Fr. Ray+
