At-Large Vestry Member Madeleine Anderson (she/her) began attending St. Thomas’s in 2020 with her wife Christy, after having been raised in the Baptist tradition and making her way to the Episcopal church in 2014. She was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 2022. She has served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and sacristan at St. Thomas’s, as well as on the leadership team of the Young Adult Episcopalians ministry network (YAE) in the greater New Haven/South Central region. Madeleine works as an attorney at Connecticut Legal Services in New Britain, where she defends very- and extremely-low-income tenants facing eviction or rental subsidy termination under Connecticut’s Right to Counsel program.
