Children & youth formation

Sunday School
Sunday School is offered at 9 a.m. most Sundays. The children are split into three groups: age 2 through pre-K, kindergarten through grade 2, and grades 3 through 5. With the preschoolers, we use stories and songs to teach them about Jesus and other important figures in the Bible. For the elementary-school--age children, we use a curriculum designed by our Sunday School Coordinator, a retired middle school teacher. It emphasizes the knowledge and experience that we want to build in the children by the time they finish fifth grade. To this end, it includes the major stories of Christianity and the particulars of Episcopal worship. All is grounded in service projects that reinforce a sense of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Middle School Youth Group
For young adults in grades 6-8, Middle School Youth Group is a place to make friends, hang out, and ask big questions about God, ourselves, and the world. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9 AM in the Youth Room. Sometimes we do activities and learning opportunities with the High School Youth Group, and all students are encouraged to take on service roles in the church as they are able. We'd love to have you join us!

High School Youth Group
High School Youth Group is geared to young adults in grades 9-12. Our goal is to provide
a safe and supportive atmosphere in which youth can be themselves and explore life's larger questions. To that end, we incorporate fellowship, service, worship, and fun. Meetings are scheduled at times convenient to the current participants; check the most recent edition of the Weekly Parish Enews for details.
